What Customers Say About Blooddrunk:

So the lost star in the rating I've given is for the item description. this album is amazing, and the title song is probably the best song they've made to date. I've been a fan of Bodom for years, and they've got from melodic, power metal kind of evil, to a gross, thrashing monster, and I've loved the whole ride. The item description states that "Lookin' out my back door" is on this edition of the album, when it isn't. I love the album. The album itself gets 5/5. I'm not giving this 5/5 because I bought this copy for the cover tracks.

Banned from Heaven is also nice; reminds me of Angels don't kill. This is definetly a step above AYDY. All the songs are good, but Hellbounds, the title, tie my rope, and roadkill are the best. Yes, some of the melodical elements are lost, but the exciting thrash elements (I consider this a thrash album unlike the other Bodom albums) are crazy. This is not like that. Let me first say that i was quite disappointed with AYDY. This album is like Hatecrew on steroids. Just listen to roadkill and you will be shocked to hear how fast bodom has become.

Almost like something I simply tolerated.I'm happy to say that while the keyboard sections haven't been toned-down, they do seem to fit in much better with the music this time around. Now things are just a tad slower, a tad heavier, and in my opinion, a tad better. For whatever reason, this cd gets my head nodding. It doesn't have that neoclassical vibe that COB had when they first came onto the scene.

2, I can't see how any heavy metal fan can be disappointed. What you get are songs that are a lot shorter and a bit less complex, but backed with more memorable and crushing riffs and solos. I can see twinges of Mark Morton and Willie Adler in Blooddrunk. But anyway, to sum up my already short review - this cd is very different than COB's past releases. But I think the one thing that has always been sort of a put off as far as they are concerned has been their rather in-your-face use of the keyboards. I know it makes them unique and is something that is common to this genre, but it has always been a tough pill for me to swallow. It certainly is a lot different than their earlier work. I know that a lot of COB diehards will disagree, but I think this style suits them much better.

Going into this with an open mind, and not expecting to hear lake bodom pt. I have always been a really big fan of Children of Bodom. That was the first thing that won me over.Once I wrapped my head around that, I realized that the music on this disc is some of the heaviest stuff COB have ever done. Can't say that has ever happened with any other Bodom release. My thinking is that touring with acts like Lamb of God had a huge influence on Alexi.

Songs like "Bloodhounds On My Trail," "Smile Pretty for the Devil," and "Tie my Rope" were catchy, fast, and I played them constantly because of that. While those tracks were awesome, the other tracks sound the same with similar choruses and the typical fast keyboard/guitars that only exist to show that they can play really fast. off their 1st three albums), but besides that I thought of them as just another Scandinavian band. When I bought this album and listened to it for the 1st time, I did not get why this album got flak for being boring and uninspired by critics. I recommend this album to people that enjoyed Are You Dead Yet., but don't be surprised if you stop listening to it. I have never been that much of a fan of Children of Bodom before. I thought that a few of their songs were enjoyable (esp. Overall, it's just flat out boring.Although this album is boring, it can still be enjoyable at times.

This album is as metal as they come,Awesome guitar and keyboard Solos, great songs PERIOD.Alexi Laiho never dissapoints and all bodom fans will appreciate this record. My favorites.Hellhounds On My TrailBlooddrunkTie My Rope**One Day You Will CryDone With Everything, Die For Nothing Banned From Heaven Roadkill Morning \M/
